aRanger is a one-file Perl script that aims at organizing MP3 files automatically for you. The idea is that you should be able to run the script on a large amount of files to get them organized in a consistent manner according to your desires. It uses the ID3 tags and the filename to deduce artist, title, and so on, so it should work even if there is no ID3 tag. It can write/remove/show ID3 tags.
