cgmail (check Gmail) is an email checker and
notifier applet for the GNOME desktop. It will
periodically check your Gmail account and will
notify you of new incoming messages. It will use
GNOME Keyring to store your credentials for
security enhancements instead of storing it in
plain text files. It uses a fresh DBUS
notification to tell you that a new message is
into your Gmail inbox.

O ícone de status será exibir a contagem de e-mails. As notificações são mais limpas, e incluem um botão para abrir um navegador para o URL do Gmail. Uma tradução para o italiano foi adicionado. Agora somente 5 indivíduos e remetentes de e-mail serão mostrados em notificações, para evitar a sobreposição da área de trabalho. O menu de contexto tem um método melhor posicionamento do menu. Sobre um diálogo tem sido adicionado.

The status icon will display the incoming email count. Notifications are cleaner, and include a button to open a browser to the Gmail URL. An Italian translation has been added. Now only 5 email subjects and senders will be shown on notifications to avoid to overlapping the desktop area. The popup menu has a better menu positioning method. An About dialog has been added.
