Cinux is a Linux distribution that can be used as an educational platform for university students. Other than an educational platform, Cinux can be used as a platform to develop applications for Linux. Cinux includes tools useful for developing programming languages (with flex and bison) and kernels (with all the ordinary tools: gcc, nasm, yasm, make, etc.). Cinux is also able to replace the LFS live CD in order to build a Linux From Scratch distribution. Cinux also includes GNOME and dpkg, allowing it to be used as a desktop system.
