O formato de saída para os números FreeMat está agora mais perto do Matlab, e pode ser ajustado usando o comando format. A janela do console foi reescrito e deve ser mais robusto e mais rápido. Gráficos de contorno em 2D e 3D são suportados, juntamente com etiquetas. Anônimos e funções aninhadas são agora suportadas. Gravar áudio / reprodução funcionalidade foi adicionada através do wavplay / wavrecord / etc. funções. Desempenho e uso de memória também foram melhorados.

Major feature enhancements
The output format for FreeMat numbers is now closer to MATLABs, and can be adjusted using the format command. The console window has been rewritten and should be more robust and faster. Contour plots in 2D and 3D are now supported, along with labels. Anonymous and nested functions are now supported. Audio record/playback functionality has been added via the wavplay/wavrecord/etc. functions. Performance and memory usage have also been improved.
