Gaupol is an editor for text-based subtitle files. It supports multiple subtitle file formats and provides means of creating subtitles, editing text, and timing subtitles to match video. This release is a migration to newer underlying technologies: Python 3, GTK+ 3, GStreamer 1.0, and the PyGObject bindings. Related to that, inline spellcheck and speech recognition are disabled while waiting for them to be ported to the same newer libraries. The line-breaking algorithm has been rewritten, several bugs have been fixed, most probably new ones have been introduced, and translations have been updated.
