Geode SP1SC10 Reference Platform features a
broad range of built in functions, including a TV
video processor, TV tuner, V.90 modem, USB, IEEE
1394, 10/100 Ethernet ports, hard disk, floppy and
DVD ROM drives, and two PCI expansion slots. To
simplify the task of developing advanced set-top
box applications, National Semiconductor, in
partnership with Century Embedded Technologies,
announces the availability of a complete Linux
software distribution for the set-top box reference
platform. This distribution includes the Linux 2.4.x
kernel, and integrates the other Linux4.TV open-
source projects into a fully operational set-top box
demonstration and reference system.
