LDAPview is a Perl-based framework for doing LDAP
directory based data management via the Web.
LDAPview can also be described as a flexible
HTTP-to-LDAP gateway framework with a focus on
making data management tasks easier. It is not
meant to be a replacement for any generic LDAP
client. It should be seen as a complementary
tool alongside generic LDAP tools. By not being
completely generic, but still very flexible,
LDAPview services can provide a more intuitive and
productive user interface for managing LDAP
directory data.
