Treadstone Zero is a really small Linux utility distribution that lets a user easily delete and erase hard drive partitions. The utility is meant to allow system administrators to easily wipe systems totally clean. It boots in less than 10 seconds on most systems, consists of a Linux 2.6.32 kernel and a RAM based ext2 file system, and supports most major hard drive controllers such as IDE, SCSI, and SATA. The partitions you wish to erase can be selected after bootup. The ISO can be burned to CD-ROM or a USB drive.
