I have been using Tera Term for many years now, Just love it!!! I use it for development boards, that are plugged into the USB which are com ports. One of the great features that Tera Term has over all others I have tried is when you connect to a com port, and you reset the device you hear the windows unplug sound then plug in sound and the device reboots. Tera Term has always just started showing any serial data again no need to close the port and re-open it like all the others. Yesterday I received a Win10 update, and when I started developing today every time the device resets Tera Term just sat there not showing any data. when I try to close Tera Term I instantly get a BLUE SCREEN where it says its sending an error report to microsoft. Is then shuts down. I can repeat this every time. I then installed the latest version and it does the same thing. My other serial term programs dont do this, its just Tera Term all of a sudden.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. As it turns out, your problem is
caused by USB driver, not Tera Term application. When the BSOD is ocurred,
the cause is not application bug but Window's device driver.
Tera Term can supports the serial port on the latest version Windows 10.
