I am trying to send a binary file with 7,724 bytes through Tera Term's File -> Send file feature when connected to a virtual COM port. Option "binary" is checked. It seems like Tera Term keeps transmitting more data than expected. In one instance I got 130,000 bytes before I stopped the program. It seems like it is varying amounts of the same data repeated over and over again:
- original data, length 0x1880 (decimal 6272) bytes
- restart of original data, length 0x1700
- restart of original data, length 0x16c0
- restart of original data, length 0x16c0
- restart of original data, length 0x16c0
etc
If "binary" option is unchecked, then I get the expected length (which is not exactly 7,724 bytes due to Tera Term's modification of newline and control characters).
Tera Term version 4.105 (SVN# 8433)
Windows 7 Professional
Virtual COM port is Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART bridge, driver version 6.7.6.2130 (date 5/23/2018)
