Linux Caixa Mágica is a Linux distribution that is aimed at inexperienced users, but can also be used on servers. In English, the name means "Magic Box", which implies that the box it is installed on needs little maintenance and supports easy configuration.

Tree Utilities are shell scripts for managing software packages installed from source distributions and binary tarballs.

PHPGeek Utilities is a set of utility scripts for building regular
expressions, debugging form submissions, modifying strings, etc., all
aimed at making life easier for PHP developers.

Chnorm is a simple command line utility for setting the owner, group, and the mode of given files and directories on a per file/per directory basis, recursively. It is especially useful if you often copy files with brain-dead permissions from filesystems not supporting the Unix permission scheme. It detects executables based on their contents and sets their permissions accordingly.

maven-javanet-plugin is built on top of the java.net tasks library
and provides a set of goals to assist projects hosted on java.net,
such as deploying a Maven-generated Web site to java.net, uploading
the distribution files to java.net, and hosting the artifacts in the
java.net Maven repository.

Secure Messaging is a Web-based, alternative mail
system for sending and receiving messages. Unlike
regular email, this system does not transmit the
messages through third-party servers which you may
not trust. Only an optional message notice is sent
to the recepient through email, so the user needs
to visit a Web page in order to read the message.
Secure Messaging can be set up on an SSL-enabled
Web site to enhance the privacy even more.

FaCiLe is a constraint programming library over integer finite domain written in OCaml. It offers all usual facilities to create and manipulate finite domain variables, arithmetic expressions and constraints (possibly non-linear), built-in global constraints, and search goals. It also allows you to build easily user-defined constraints and goals (including recursive ones), making pervasive use of OCaml higher-order functionals to provide a simple and flexible interface for the user.

TkMAME is a full featured graphical front end for MAME (The Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). It is written in Tcl/Tk and runs under both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.

phpEquations is a PHP class that can find the solutions of linear, polynomial, and trigonometric mathematical equations and systems. It takes a string with one or more equations and parses it to solve the equations. The solutions are returned as an associative array with the values of each equation variable. The class uses a variation of Newton's method with a special technique, called Blocking, to maximize speed by reducing a large problem into smaller problems with fewer variables. The time limit for running the algorithm, the number of variables, the number of iterations, and the iteration step are configurable parameters.

mru_manager is a PHP module to access the most recently used items in a Web application. It can register and store "opening object" events. It can manage the order of events and delete all events that exceed the configured maximum number for each object type. The list of recently used items can be saved with user credentials. Separate lists can be maintained for different types of objects.

JIIC is a streaming-based Java implementation of
ISO 9660 for creating CD-ROM filesystem images
("ISO images") with the extensions El Torito,
Joliet, and Rock Ridge. It is based on the SABRE
streaming API, and provides an Ant task for easy
integration into Java-based build processes.

Yellow is a flat-file content management system. Everything is made of files and folders. You can create Web pages, blogs, and wikis. Its features include a Web interface, static content generation, Markdown, and Dropbox support.

yumtk is a GUI front-end for yum, the Yellow dog Updater,
Modified. It lists updated versions of packages already installed
along with available packages that have not been installed. An
"Update All" button makes it possible to perform a quick, full
system update, and an option to automatically install packages
and dependencies, or to list what is needed and prompt for
approval is provided. Available packages are listed complete
with architecture, package version, and repository. Each
package listed has an "info" button to display the description
information from the package header.

Max Media Manager is an ad server based on
phpAdsNew, enhanced for performance, with many new
features, and restructured for expansion. New
features include agency support, rich media ads,
conversion tracking, third-party ad tracking, and
optimization and restructuring for a high-volume
multi-server environment. Planned additional
modules include: Search Engine Keyword Marketing,
Email Marketing, Affiliate Management, and
Conversion Tracking. Third-party ad tracking
includes: DoubleClick, ValueClick, Bluestreak,
Mediaplex, Atlas, Eyeblaster, Tango Zebra.
