Stash is a package manager for non-root users. It makes it easier for you to install, track, and maintain packages and modules in your home directory. It does this by detecting the type of package or module you are installing and passing all the correct command line arguments to the relevant configure scripts and/or makefiles. It is extensible via custom packages, and tracks both architecture dependent and independent packages in separate directories so that they can be shared across systems. Package tracking uses symlinks in a manner similar to GNU stow. It supports autoconf, Perl and Python modules, imake (xmkmf), PMK, and many custom packages.

computer networks to maintain host information for
building configuration files for DNS and DHCP.

QMail Installation is a small and very practical
script that makes it easy to install qmail and
other related tools, such as vpopmail,

BBLCD is a toolkit which allows you to build your
own bootable Linux CDs. It copies everything from
a "master" to the CD-ROM. It is independent of the
distribution you use as a master.

UniPKG (Universal PaCkaGe manager) is a modular

mounted read-only during
normal operation for minimal chance of failure. It

set of system utilities and manual pages (targeted
towards networking
features) in less than 32MB of disk or flash
space. The distribution
list can be customized to target other
applications, or to use even less
space.

The goal for A-A-P is to make it easy to locate,
download, and install software. Additionally, it
supports making changes to a program and managing
different versions that exist in the world, making
it useful both for users and for developers. It
uses a recipe that is similar to a Makefile, but
with many enhancements, such as integrated Python
script support, support for Internet access, and
version control. An IDE will be provided that
integrates your favorite editor, debugger, and
other tools.

gitty-gitty, the (general | GNU) template generation tools, are a set of scripts for creating a whole set of sources which may already be compiled and installed using the GNU development tools. Think of gtgt as a program which is able to create an already compilable, very sophisticated "hello world" program, written in C or C++ and constituted by a main program, two internal modules (classes), and one static and one shared library, and this complex "Hello World" is already fully embedded into the GNU autoconf/automake development environment. By using gitty-gitty, you will get a template of sources for the main cases you might meet, and which you can also use as examples for automake, autoconf, etc.

adamoto is an Application Deployment And
MOnitoring TOol. It's a client/server based
application for deploying software packages with a
Web frontend. The Web frontend in conjunction with
the server enables sysadmins to administrate and
monitor the deployment of software packages on the
computers in a network. It supports Linux RPM and
Windows MSI files directly.
