watcher is a script that watches files, pipes, or Unix domain sockets in parallel.

EscolaGest is Web-based school management software. It allows registering students, teachers, and subjects, evaluating students, and more.

datafromdump is a class that manipulates table dumps from full MySQL database dumps. The SQL CREATE and INSERT statements for a number of given tables can be extracted and executed immediately or saved to a new database dump file. During the first scan of a dump file, it tries to create a "metadata" file, so the subsequent data extraction jobs will be much faster. CREATE TABLE operators can be executed or included into the resulting SQL file or not, according to passed parameters. A short "statistic page" can be printed after the job.

WinAdminPassword is a tool for deploying unique passwords on Windows and Unix systems. Passwords are based on the computer's serial number and a secret key. The advantage is that no password is stored in a database and you can display them with a GLPI plugin, Webmin, etc.

ClusterTools includes a set of tools for administration tasks, monitoring, and testing of heartbeat2 clusters.

phpDNSAdmin is a highly modular Web-based DNS administration interface. It supports multiple types of modules for various DNS server backends and different modules for authentication and authorization data. To be fully customizable, it is also template based.

Open School Admin (OSA) is a Web-based school administration system primarily focused on ease of use and access to school information. It has been in continuous use and development for the past 7 years.
It manages all aspects of school administration: student enrollment, class scheduling, mark reporting, attendance, user accounts, and room booking. Through the use of various plugins, it also manages email announcements (including automated attendance notices), government reporting, dorm room management, Alumni relations, etc. It is a standalone application written using a Perl/MySQL back end. It requires a Web server (Apache/Lighttpd tested) and should run out of the box on any Unix system.
While OSA itself is very mature, the installation and setup is still a young and evolving process.

pygmed is a simple editor for ".desktop" files. It has two panels for editing files. Each panel works independently from the other. You can copy and move files between panels. pygmed can search for file that have similar names or executable commands. It can also detect missing commands.

tstime is a command that is similar to the time(1) command, but in addition to the runtime, it also prints the highwater memory usage (RSS+VMEM) of the controlled process. tsmon is a command that prints the runtime/highwater memory usage of every process that exits on the system until the tsmon is quit. These programs use the taskstats delay accounting interface of the Linux 2.6 kernel.

vpsAdmin is a Web-based admin panel with support for multiple OpenVZ servers and division between frontend and backend.

Condensation is a modular tool for Web application development and
server administration. It includes an ssh terminal and a proxy server.
The proxy can redirect a browser's request (to your testing site, for
example) and inspect the browser's requests and the server's answer.

MikroConf is a command line administration interface for Linux-based embedded systems. MikroConf can be easily extended with new administration modules written using the Tcl programming language.

Print Release System provides Web-based management of System V printing. It sits between Samba and the System V printing system. It ought to be relatively easy to make it work with other printing systems. After the job is printed, the user needs to consult a Web page that shows their queued jobs, which can be selected and released for printing (or canceled). A record is maintained for each job and, once the user reaches a quota, they can't release any further jobs to the printer.
