MDB Tools is a library and set of utilities for reading Microsoft Access Database (MDB) files. The authors are currently seeking developers to help on the project. The package also includes a GTK-based file browser, a small SQL engine, and an ODBC driver.

pgAdmin III is an administration and management tool for the PostgreSQL database and derivative products such as EnterpriseDB, Mammoth PostgreSQL, Pervasive Postgres, and SRA PowerGres. It includes a graphical administration interface, an SQL query tool with grahical EXPLAIN, a procedural code editor, an SQL/shell/batch scheduling agent, Slony-I management, and much more. It is designed to answer the needs of most users, from writing simple SQL queries to developing complex databases. The graphical interface supports all PostgreSQL features and makes administration easy.

My Handy Restaurant is software created to help restaurant waiters and managers in their job. Waiters can choose a restaurant table, assign orders to it and have them automatically printed on printers. "Normal" dishes can also be modified, by adding or removing ingredients. Bills can be printed automatically, even for separated bills. The accounting section allows a restaurant manager to easily administrate the whole accounting (bank accounts, employees, suppliers, income) in an easy way. Stock management is also available, and items quantity is automatically updated. The interface is handheld-sized and is written to be compatible with most handheld browsers.

FreeTDS is an open-source implementation of the TDS (Tabular DataStream) database client access protocol and related libraries used by Sybase and Microsoft. FreeTDS supports all versions of the protocol from both vendors, and includes DB-Lib, CT-Lib, and ODBC libraries.

Siag Office is a free office package which consists of the spreadsheet Siag, the word processor PW, the animation program Egon, the text editor XedPlus, the file manager Xfiler and the previewer Gvu. Siag is easy to use, yet infinitely flexible through multiple embedded interpreters and a plugin mechanism that allows other programs to run inside the main document. The supported interpreters are SIOD, Guile, Tcl, and Python.

Papyrus is a XML-based reporting langauge for PostgreSQL and MySQL. It allows you to generate well-formatted reports in LaTeX, PDF, PostScript, HTML, ANSI, and XML. The XML is expressed in a formatting-oriented style to allow you to develop a wide range of reports. SQL is then embedded into the report to give you the desired data. Papyrus is commandline-driven, and data arguments can be passed into the report. Equations and expressions can also be carried out on data.

A query frame allows the building of complex SQL statements and SQL Query Bucket for saving such. The application allows easy sorting, searching, and import/export of table data. A plug-in framework allows inclusion of tools to visually build queries, profiles, and plot data for analysis.
