Scalate is a Scala 2.8 based template engine for generating text and markup. It can be used stand-alone in any JVM or as a servlet filter in any Java Web application. It supports the following template formats: Mustache, Scaml, Jade, and SSP.

AsyncFP is a Scala project with composable actors that interoperate both synchronously and asynchronously. The current focus is on providing a kit for creating high-performance custom NoSQL databases. The small datastore currently under development is a crash-proof in-memory database supporting multiple queries or single update. Updates write to a backing disk file.

Sintel is a VoIP application using a custom XML based protocol for communication and Ogg for transmitting media.

mrtoms is an IRC bot written in Scala. It supports a very powerful and easy to use plugin system where plugins are compiled to and loaded from jar files. mrtoms comes with a Z-machine interpreter plugin so that games like Zork can be played collaboratively. It also includes an MPD control plugin and others.

TumblrBackup is a backup application for the public side of Tumblr sites. Minimal restoring is implemented. TumblrBackup uses the old Tumblr API.

Conky GUI is a graphic editor for Conky files. It aims to quicken the customization of Conky files. It features syntax highlighting, word completion, the ability to run conky from the GUI, color choosers, and easy access to configuration variables.

The Eventual PlayFramework-AngularJS-Bootstrap-MongoDB Seed Project is a seed project that provides a CRUD implementation. It uses the Play Framework and MongoDB on the backend, and AngularJS and Bootstrap on the front-end. It is designed to underpin the development of future applications that adopt the same combination of technologies.

Wnbrowser is a GUI frontend for the WordNet English thesaurus/ontology. It uses the JUNG library to display an attractive representation of the lexical database.

UYKFD uses metadata from Last FM's Web services API to infer relationships between artists. It then uses that information to generate playlists of related tracks. Although development is complete, it must be compiled using a development version of Scala and is therefore only suitable for expert users.

SBuild Eclipse Plugin integrates SBuild into the Eclipse IDE. It provides an SBuild classpath container which can resolve project dependencies (build path) via SBuild. Additionally, dependencies can be resolved alternatively from a workspace through an alias configuration.
