i tried 32 and 64 bit builds of android O 8.1 rc1,and on both system i cannot record screen.I used los screen recorder,some apps from the play store with similar functionality and it doesnt works.it creates a file,it shows that its recording,saves to a video file,but any video player cant play.Tried to play these fileson pc-same results.Some software aloowed me to choose between mp4 and hevc5,results the same.Maybe video encoder broken.Tested on intel i5 4th generation cpu,dell inspiron 7 laptop.
