Essa versão traz grandes mudanças na forma como o programa se conecta ao servidor MySQL. Ele usa um SDBC driver nativo, que torna o programa muito mais rápido. Outras mudanças são o uso de UTF-8 character set do banco de dados ea inclusão de um programa de medicamentos no programa MyPatients (o motorista SDBC pode ler todos os esquemas do servidor de banco de dados com uma conexão). Pequenas correções de bugs também tiveram lugar. A versão 4.0 foi testado no Ubuntu Linux, Windows XP e Windows 7.

Major feature enhancements
This version brings major changes in the way the program connects to MySQL Server. It uses an SDBC Native driver that makes the program a lot faster. Other changes are the use of a UTF-8 character set in the database and the inclusion of a drugs program in the MyPatients program (the SDBC Driver can read all the schemas of the database server with one connection). Minor bug fixes also took place. The 4.0 version is tested on Ubuntu Linux, Windows XP, and Windows 7.
O novo OpenOffice.org 3.2 tem um problema com o ícone do Incoming / Outgoing formulário. O ícone foi mudado de SVG para PNG para resolver este problema.

The new OpenOffice.org 3.2 has a problem with the icon of the Incoming/Outgoing form. The icon was changed from SVG to PNG to address this problem.
Alguns erros no script de instalação do Linux e um arquivo de despejo defeituoso SQL (MyPatients.sql) resultou em um banco de dados inutilizável para os usuários novos no 3.0.2. Isso foi corrigido.
