PCLinuxOS is an English-only GNU/Linux distribution that runs entirely from a bootable CD without installing anything on your computer. Data on the CD is decompressed on the fly, allowing up to 2GB of programs on one CD, including a complete X server, KDE desktop, OpenOffice.org, Thunderbird, Firefox, P2P file sharing, and much more, all preconfigured and ready to use. In addition to the liveCD mode, you can also install PCLinuxOS to your hard drive using an easy-to-use liveCD installer.

Esta é uma atualização para o liveCD com correções para diversos problemas encontrados após o lançamento do preview 9. 2.6.11 A nova oci12 kernel foi adicionado. Xorg atualizado. O PCLOS Control Center foi atualizado para corrigir alguns utilitários de configuração. Um disco kdeusb nova configuração chave foi adicionada para usar a conta de convidado em um disco usbkey. O instalador agora verifica para se certificar de que tem espaço suficiente na partição primária para fazer uma instalação completa. O LiveCD foi totalmente atualizado a partir do Synaptic.

This is an update for the liveCD with fixes for various issues found after the release of preview 9. A new 2.6.11-oci12 kernel was added. Xorg was updated. The PCLOS Control Center was updated to fix some configuration utilities. A new kdeusb disk key setup was added for using the guest account on a usbkey disk. The installer now checks to make sure you have enough space on the primary partition to do a complete install. The liveCD was fully updated from Synaptic.
