snmpwatch can be used to remotely watch via
SNMP the size and the memory used by each
process. It will warn you if a process exceeds its
`quota' of CPU or memory - these limits are based
on process and host name. One of the most
important advantages of snmpwatch is that you
don't have to install anything specific on the
servers you want to watch, everything is done
remotely on a distinct and centralized monitoring
host.
