FWIW, Gmane used to be one of the best mailing list archives on the net, but some scum-bags launched a DDoS attack on it, a few years ago. The administrator was unwilling to commit resources to combat that, and took the site down; in spite of several offers to take it over, it never came back. If some kind soul would undertake the task of updating the Wiki pages, and replace the Gmane references with SourceForge and OSDN equivalents, it would be appreciated. -- Regards, Keith.
