There are RPM packages for SUSE Linux 9.3 available. You can download them ((<here|URL:http://franz.hob-bruneck.info/downloads/suse93/ruby-gnome2/>)). You there also will find a tarball including all RPMs, so you don't have to download them apartly.
The package ruby-gtkglext expects gtkglext to be installed, you will find it ((<here|URL:ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_9.3/applications/>))
The packages are available for the i586 architecture.
