Comic book lineart trapping (2010-08-12 15:46 by coreyh2 #52453)

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to trap lineart using separate+ plug in way described here?
http://www.dave-co.com/gutterzombie/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=133

As far as I understand it I need to make sure all of the black lineart is k100 while black lineart 4 pixels in from the edge of the lineart is a rich black something like 60C40Y40M100K. I'm only found descriptions of how to do it in photoshop.

The overprint pure black seems like its turning all the black into a rich black but I'm having a hard time understanding how to edit/understand the output of Separate+ as far as getting cymk values and changing them to other values.

thanks,

Corey Holcomb-Hockin
