Details

It would be nice if the selection for serial port
connection would also show the device string.

If there are several serial devices this would help
selecting the proper one.

I'm attaching a file which shows devices as they
show up in the device manager.
Opposed to how it is done there it would be nicer
if the COMn Port would be listed before the device
string. So rather:
COM10: USB-to-Serial Port Driver
than:
USB-to-Serial Port Driver (COM10) ?

Thanks for TeraTerm!

Greetings,
Frieder

Thank you for your feedback.

I added this feature in the following archive:

http://ttssh2.sourceforge.jp/snapshot/snapshot-20070817.zip

Would you please evaluate this archive?

That's great! Unfortunately at the moment I do not
have a Windows machine at hand.

So I tried on Windows98SE running in an emulator
(qemu 0.9.0) which had a problem in TTXSSH.DLL.
I'm appending a screenshot and will test on Win2k
tomorrow.

Thanks again,
Frieder

Now TeraTerm starts up fine (on Windows 98 second edition
running in an emulator:)
And the COM port selection is fine too!

Thanks a lot!)
