com0com serial port emulators are not listed in the COM ports to select in TT. Installed signed x64 emulated serial ports from http://pete.akeo.ie/2011/07/com0com-signed-drivers.html Emulated serial ports are enumerated by VMware Workstation 12 and able to attach to a VM. Server 2012 R2 Dell Precision 7610 TT does enumerate all hardware COM ports

Thank you for your feedback.

I think that your problem is not Tera Term but your serial driver

because Tera Term is an application program and does not control

the serial device in kernel space. The com0com port is not be listed

on the COM ports of Tera Term because the port is opened by

another application.
