Ticket details:
gtk-clients have "extern GtkAccelGroup *toplevel_accel;" in their menu.h, but that toplevel_accel does not really exist (and is not used either, obviously). It has been harmless so far, but gtk3x-client does not compile against gtk-3.98.2 with it in place.
