Gv4l is a v4l (Video4Linux) frontend of transcode
used to watch and/or record from a v4l-capable
device. The v4l device streams can be
recorded in both raw and encoded format, such as
DivX.

Many small bugs have been fixed. More messageboxes have been added, as
well as "enable", "disable", and "delete" functions for the scheduler.
A string termination for the video source which was missing has been
replaced.
A parada bug causado pela forma V4L informações sobre o dispositivo estava sendo lido foi fixada (apenas versão 2.1.0 foi afetado). A hang bug caused by the way V4L device
information was being read was fixed (only
version 2.1.0 was affected). The new features in
this release include a preferences window,
screen saver disabling, settings that are saved
on exit, and the ability to either record to a
new file (generated) or resume another.
A lista de canais a partir do arquivo de configuração do xawtv agora podem ser gerados. A fonte de entrada de vídeo (s) é / são obtidos a partir do dispositivo v4l, e do padrão de TV é definida internamente.

A channel list from the xawtv configuration file can now be generated. The input video source(s) is/are obtained from the V4L device, and the TV standard is set internally.
