kamix is a mixer for KDE and ALSA, with more
features than kmix (or at least with more features
than kmix had when kamix was started). It supports
channel splitting, levels storing/restoring, sync
with external ALSA events, correct handling of
"enumerated" elements, and selective item
hiding/showing.

Existem algumas correções. Agrupamento foi reformulado e tornado mais fácil de manusear. Os grupos podem ser renomeados, e os itens podem ser reordenadas dentro dos grupos. OSD informação é mais clara. Nível Item pode ser exibido como uma porcentagem e dB (se o ALSA suporta).
