MDB Tools is a library and set of utilities for reading Microsoft Access Database (MDB) files. The authors are currently seeking developers to help on the project. The package also includes a GTK-based file browser, a small SQL engine, and an ODBC driver.

A interface gráfica (gmdb2) foi atualizado para usar o GNOME 2.0. Depurador de correções e melhorias foram feitas. Correções foram feitas para bancos de dados Jet4. Fast leituras são possíveis para grandes bases de dados. As melhorias foram feitas ao Mecanismo de SQL e ODBC. Lotes de melhorias e correções para utilitários de linha de comando foram feitas.

The graphical interface (gmdb2) was updated to use GNOME 2.0. Debugger fixes and improvements were made. Fixes were made for Jet4 databases. Fast reads are now possible for large databases. Improvements were made to the SQL Engine and ODBC driver. Lots of enhancements and fixes for command line utilities were made.
