mtPaint is a simple GTK+1/2 painting program
designed for creating icons and pixel-based
artwork. It can edit indexed palette or 24 bit RGB
images and offers basic painting and palette
manipulation tools. Its main file format is PNG,
although it can also handle JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP,
TGA, XPM, and XBM files.

Esta versão adiciona multithreadeding multicore CPUs, ferramentas de segmentação de imagens e para aproximar gradientes, visualizações dinâmicas em seletores de cor, uma área de doca, um pop-up do seletor de cores, autoscrolling, barras de ferramentas redimensionamento automático, suporte para o PBM/PGM/PPM/PAM, PCX, e formatos de imagem SVG e perfis de cor em imagens, carregamento de GIFs animados e TIFFs várias páginas em camadas, extração de paleta de imagens, de "ajustar à grade", alguns novo teclado atalhos e numerus aumentos de velocidade e melhorias. Foram adicionadas novas traduções húngaro e Tagalog, a maioria das outras traduções atualizadas e muitos bugs corrigidos.

This release adds multithreadeding multicore CPUs, tools for image segmentation and for approximating gradients, dynamic previews in color selectors, a dock area, a color chooser popup, autoscrolling, auto-resizing toolbars, support for the PBM/PGM/PPM/PAM, PCX, and SVG image formats and for color profiles in images, loading of animated GIFs and multipage TIFFs into layers, palette extraction from images, "snap to grid", some new keyboard shortcuts, and numerus speedups and improvements. New Hungarian and Tagalog translations have been added, most other translations updated, and many bugs fixed.
