Wimpiggy is a library for writing EWMH-compliant, compositing window managers using Python and GTK+. The goal is to make writing a window manager as easy as writing a PyGTK application. This library can be used to build a trivial, working window manager in only about 40 lines of code.

Wimpiggy fazia parte do gerenciador de janelas 'parti'. Com este lançamento, foi cindido em um pacote separado e que funcionará de forma independente. Wimpiggy was formerly part of the window manager 'parti'. With this release it has been split off into a separate package and is installable and usable independently. Support has been added for compositing, model/view separation for client windows, key binding, event dispatching that doesn't leak memory, and various client hints such as icons and struts.
