Apmiser is a daemon that monitors the CPU usage patterns of your laptop and automatically switches between power-saving mode (in which the CPU is underclocked) and normal mode, depending on whether it thinks you will need the extra CPU speed. This lets you leave your laptop in it's power-saving state without having to suffer from poor performance when you need to perform a CPU-intensive task. Apmiser currently only supports IBM Thinkpads via tpctl, but support can be easily added for any laptop that supports switching power-saving modes programmatically.

Comedi is a collection of hardware drivers, a common kernel interface, and a support library for data acquisition devices.

IRCtl is a LIRC-compatible driver for the IR remote control in the FlyVideo98 TV card. There is always a newest version of this driver in the Lirc CVS tree. It is a patch against kernel bttv driver plus loadable lirc driver module. The kernel patch also enables support of the FV98 card in the kernel bttv driver.

XyberPanel is a module for driving the flatpanels used by Xybernaut under XFree86 3.3.x and console. It includes support for mouse and virtual keyboard as well as the special keys on the side of the panel's screen.

This Samsung ML-85G printer driver can print at
the full resolution of 600x600 dpi, and at the
maximum speed (about two times faster than the
driver supplied by the manufacturer under
Windows). It needs Ghostscript to convert your
PostScript files into PBM images, piping the output
directly to the driver. The driver runs in user
space, but calls iopl(), so it should be set suid root
to execute transparently.

modemusage generates a graph of modem usage over
time, although it can be modified to monitor usage
of other resources.

This is a driver for SCSI Medium Changer devices, which are listed with "Type: Medium Changer" in /proc/scsi/scsi. This is for large scale Jukebox systems, not for smaller common CD_ROM changers or IDE drives.

gnokiline is a program to manage incoming SMS messages to a Nokia mobile phone permanently connected to a PC with gnokii installed, executing programs according to commands in the SMSes if the supplied password and the sending number is correct.

interface. It is part of the BOSS Project.

rslink is a GTK application that controls mutliple Sony 200-disc changers via the S-Link port. The current version is designed to work with the nirvis SLink-E unit. It will automatically scan the CDs for title information in the CDDB, and allow you to create playlists.
