Journal is a Perl/CGI script that allows the user
to keep a regular log of his/her thoughts. The
interface is easy to understand, with only a few
buttons to utilize. This journal is fast and able
to be viewed and used by both text and graphical
browsers. Drawbacks as of now are that it works
better if Apache is running (but can be changed if
the user can read Perl), and there is no
installer. The pieces need to be hand placed
(optimal placement in the README.txt), and there
is not a Win32 port yet.

Inline::SLang lets you write Perl routines in
S-Lang and use existing modules and packages. It
is an ILSM (Inline Language Support Module) for
S-Lang.

The ipaudit package records and displays network activity. It is useful for identifying heavy bandwidth users, intrusive telnet sessions, denial of service attacks, and scans. It includes ipaudit, which stores counts of bytes and packets for every combination of host/port pairs and protocol. The utilities total and ipstrings can be used to investigate network traffic records from the command line. ipaudit-web can collect network traffic statistics and generate Web reports.

VitaleBay assists eBay sellers with managing their auctions. It automatically retrieves auction information and stores it in a PostgreSQL database, automatically emails the winning bidder with a "Congratulations" email, and stores bidder's information in database (name, address, payment method).

slmodem is a SmartLink soft modem for Linux. It
provides a full-featured 56K voice fax modem. This
is implemented as a generic application (slmodemd)
and a set of hardware specific kernel-space
drivers (slamr and slusb). ALSA modem drivers may
be used instead of proprietary ones.

Impost is a network security auditing tool designed to
analyze the forensics behind compromised and/or vulnerable
daemons. There are two different kinds of operating modes;
it can either act as a honey pot and take orders from a Perl
script controlling how it responds and communicates with
connecting clients, or it can operate as a packet sniffer and
monitor incoming data to specified destination port supplied
by the command-line arguments.

Leonov is a desktop client for Launchpad. Leonov
is not bound to KDE/Qt or GNOME/Gtk. Whatever you
can do with Launchpad, there will be a
representation in Leonov.
