PNphpBB2 is a forum module for PostNuke. It
integrates phpBB2 with PostNuke and provides
PostNuke theme integration as well as integrating
user profiles.

nms is a set of drop-in replacements for the
CGI scripts found at Matt's Script Archive. They
have been developed from the ground up to
emulate their behavior, but in many cases are
better written and more secure. The collection
includes form mail, guest book, simple search,
and counter scripts.

DBOX is a free communication package for ISPs. It supports a large number of message formats such as RFC/UUCP, ZConnect, Janus/Janus2, Alphabox, and GSbox. It is designed for large installations and includes a WWW package with an email/HTML gateway, an HTML online shop, support for POP3/IMAP4, and personal homepages with HTTP/FTP upload.

PBLang is a versatile flat file BBS, requiring
only PHP 4.02 support. It has a wide range of
user specific settings, various skins/layouts,
configurable forums, moderators, email
notifications, several levels of restrictions,
membership groups, a completely configurable
layout, sortable members list, avatars, etc. The
emphasis is on configurability and reliability.

DayDream is an X-style bulletin board system (BBS) software for Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD.

dd_listmsgs is a small door program for the DayDream BBS. It lists the header information of all available messages within a DayDream BBS messagebase.

TkNewsII is a QWK and NNTP echomail and Usenet
news client.

VAXbb is a fast, text-only, Perl-based Web bulletin board. Its functionality and use is based loosely on a VAX terminal-based bb system that the author knew and loved.

BoardMod is a tool to manage installed
modifications in YaBB bulletin boards.

Devalot is a social networking application centered around software projects. It connects the user community with the development community and encourages participation and communication. It includes all the features you've come to expect in modern Web-based applications such as tagging, comments, and a wiki, as well as features you'd expect in project tracking software such as ticketing. It has features similar to some of those found in Trac, Collaboa, GForge, Mephisto, and Typo.

bbsengine is a modular, object-oriented
application framework that implements and manages
templates, permissions, membership, database
access, etc. It currently includes modules that
allow for news, forums, links, and so forth.

Postbot is a hack for the Woltlab Burning Board
(WBB) that posts new threads, posts, and
registrations automatically into IRC.
Furthermore, users can search the board, show the
latest threads/posts, and look up a user's last
seen date via IRC.

Agora is a forums application integrated with the
Horde framework. It not only provides standard Web
forums, but also makes forum-like functionality
available to other Horde applications such as
threaded comments on news, photos, etc.
