daes is a little program for encrypting files.

Xclasses is a C layout library for the X Window System. All objects (called gadgets) are font sensitive, i.e. their size changes with the size of the used screen font and the size of the window. All this is done by Xclasses itself. The user may choose any kind of font style and size.

Gangplank is a Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) system (or "chat server") which supports real-time communication between users, currently using a text-based user interface. It runs as an Internet server which implements the standard telnet protocol, so no special client program is necessary for users. Server-side processing provides input editing/history and terminal- handling features over the telnet connection for standard ANSI terminals. This code has been in production use on a private server since early 1993. This single-process server is fast, efficient and stable.

nMicrocoder is an ncurses EDA tool to write
microcode. Basically, it is a stripped down
spreadsheet program that lets you fill a table
with "0", "1", and "-", and gives you
compile-ready verilog code in return. It was
written as an alternative to full spreadsheet
programs. It is known to run on Linux, IRIX, and
Solaris, unless ncurses 5.3 is installed.

EMAN is a scientific image processing suite with
full Python bindings. While it is mainly
designed to perform single-particle
reconstructions of individual molecules, it may
also have uses for many other imaging methods.
Single particle reconstruction is a method where
projection images of individual molecules in random
orientations are processed to produce a 3D structure
of the molecule in question. The library can process
1-3 dimensional data in a variety of formats, including
a variety of Fourier and real-space filters and many
more esoteric image processing routines.

Dark Lands is a multiplayer RPG made fully with ANSI graphics. The source code is in Pascal. Currently, this game has probably no point except exploring the areas and killing monsters. It can be used as a BBS door game.

Ametys CMS is a Content Management System which combines rich content with an easy-to-use and intuitive interface. It makes content publishing accessible for the non-programmer and provides an easy editorial interface very close to Microsoft Office applications.
