Pod::OOoWriter is a Perl module that converts text
in POD format to OpenOffice.org Writer (.sxw)
format. It uses an existing .sxw file as a
template, searching for special tokens to identify
which style should be applied to each POD directive.

Kiswahili Spellchecker provides Kiswahili spellchecking for
OpenOffice.org and Mozilla.

CUON is an ERP system with a powerful document
management system. The server runs on Linux
systems. The client works on Linux, Windows, and
some small PDAs like the Nokia N800. You can
manage addresses, articles, projects, and so on.
On some installations, more than 1,000,000
adresses are supported. CUON has its own report
server to build documents and reports and a Web
server for iCal and scheduling.

Linguistico is a set of language tools based on
the Italian language. It includes a dictionary, a
thesaurus, word definitions, and other scripts and
programs. You can use these tools with
OpenOffice.org, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla
Firefox, MySpell, MyThes, Aspell, and HunSpell.

Jex is a WYSIWYG mathematical equation editor for
OpenOffice.org 2.0. It is written in Java for
cross-platform portability. TeX, MathML, and Mathtype
are supported as external formats. Conversion of documents to and from TeX is supported.

rst2odt.py/odtwriter.py is a writer for Docutils
that translates reST (reStructuredText) into an
ODF (Open Document Format) .odt file that is
usable with the OpenOffice.org toolset.

CleanSheets is a spreadsheet application that is
both extensible and platform-independent. It features a formula language that closely resembles that of Microsoft Excel, and extensions for aiding end-user programmers in developing correct spreadsheets. The application is written in Java, and relies on ANTLR for generating the formula compiler and the JFC/Swing JTable component for spreadsheet visualization.

OpenOffice Indexer generates an index for
OpenOffice.org documents. It can extract
keywords and make documents accessible for
various keyword systems.

Mantis Help Desk is a help desk application designed to be easy to use. It is able to accept email from the Web and add it directly to itself.

FreeWERM is a Web-based application that can
manage the HR side of any business. It stores
attendance, payroll, personnel, and departmental
data. It can also create Excel reports and PDF
documents based on the information in its
database. It also comes with a feature for
granting and modifying access privileges for
employees who are using it.

BeatrIX Linux is a 180-megabyte live CD that is
also installable to hard drive. It features kernel
2.6.7, Gnome 2.8, Evolution 2.0, Firefox 1.0 with
AdBlock, Open Office 1.1.2, Vim, Apt, xPDF and
more. It tracks the Ubuntu package repository. It
was originally built for the mini-ITX motherboards
from Via, but it runs on just about any
Pentium-class PC with 64 megs of RAM or more. It's
a get-the-job-done distribution for people who
want the basics.

ooo-makro is a Polish version of a toolkit for LibreOffice, OpenOffice.org, or StarOffice which includes macros written in StarBasic, associated shortcuts, the template SPECIAL, and a Perl script. The English version is called ooo-macro.

Osmose is a tool to prepare multimedia presentations. It has been tested under Mac OS X (Panther and Tiger), Linux, and Windows XP with Java 1.4.2. It allows you to print the presentations and to visualize them on the screen and on the Web in HTML (under Mac OS X, it is also easy to create PDF files from your presentations). Osmose is based on a research work that proposes a new way to create digital documents. Rather than WYSIWYG, it is a more complete way of working that articulates working on the content, adding multimedia files, and working on the style using a graphic theme.
