Ulog enables you to list past and present X11 sessions on a whole domain of machines. It is the X11 equivalent of "who" or "last" commands, with much more sophisticated options and search criteria (such as login username, hostname, display name, login/logout times, etc.). It relies on a ulogd daemon which keeps track of events (login, logout, etc.) sent via, for example, the startup and reset scripts of xdm.

KBACKUP is intended for handling of backups no
matter whether they reside on disk or tape or even
in files. As most other backup programs available
today are either confusing the user with lots of
long command line options, or user friendly but not
powerful at all, the aim behind writing KBACKUP was
to provide a user friendly yet powerful backup
program. It is also intended to be kept compatible
to existing and well proven archive formats, so you
can restore your archives even if you should not
have KBACKUP around anymore.

jEncrypt is a commandline file encryption archiver. Files are encrypted with the AES-CTR mode, which was recommended by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2001 (NIST SP 800-38A). AES-CTR mode only provides confidentiality. It requires a message authentication code such as CBC-MAC to ensure an encrypted message is not accidentally modified or maliciously tampered with, which jEncrypt currently does not provide.
