The GuiLoader C library allows applications to reconstruct user interfaces from GuiXml files. GuiXml interfaces are created and edited by the Crow Designer. Access to the GuiLoader functionality for applications in C++ is granted by a special auxiliary library, GuiLoader-C++.

This package contains games for the GNOME2 desktop. Games included in this package are FreeCell (a popular solitare game), Glines (a color lines game), Gataxx (another disc-flipping game), Gnect (four in a row game), Gnibbles (a snake game for up to four players), Gnobots II (improved version of an old BSD robots game), GNOME-Stones (a game based on a very old arcade game where you have to collect gems), Gnometris (GNOME version of the popular Russian game Tetris), GNOME Mine (the popular logic puzzle minesweeper), GNOME Klotski (a game based on the not so popular Klotski), GNOME Tali (a sort of poker with dice and less money), Iagno (GNOME version of the popular Othello), Mahjongg (GNOME version of the classic Eastern tile game), Same GNOME (game where the goal is to remove as many balls in as few moves as possible), and GNOME xbill (a port of the classic anti-Windows game).

WorldPrint is a filter for Mozilla (Galeon, etc.),
Htmldoc, and Netscape PostScript output that uses
TrueType fonts to allow the printing of pages
written in Unicode, Big5, SJIS, KOI-8, ISO-8859*,
and other charsets.

Open Simp-X is a powerful Internet platform for everyone, attempting to change
programming for the Internet with sharing database information. It strives for
scalablility, reliability, and ease of use. The platform consists of a
client/server pair. Security is a top priority, and data transfers are
encrypted. Open Simp-X achieves scalability through plugins. Plugins can
collect information, manipulate it, and send it back to the database. Writing
plugins is easy since they do not have to worry about how to send or receive
their information, and can focus on manipulating it. Open Simp-X can be set up
to retreive data through a LAN or through a Web server.

WMNUT is a dockapp program to monitor UPS statistics through the NUT (Network UPS Tools) framework on Linux and other systems.

zufall is a simple program to change the
background periodically. It takes one or more
directories with images as a parameter (no GUI)
and sets a randomly chosen image as background. If
there is a border remaining, its color is the
average color of two corners of the image. This
mostly fits the image very well. It doesn't work
if the root window is hidden by another program,
like in Gnome or KDE. However, it is possible to
execute a configurable command to effect the
change whenever the image is supposed to change. A script to do this in Gnome is included.

Choosefont is a tool for efficiently finding the
required font from a large amount of font faces. It
can also create HTML and CSS code to select the
font and copy it to the X clipboard automatically.

Fontilus is a set of extensions for Nautilus to
help manage fonts on your system.

XFast is a slim and lightweight desktop
environment that incorporates both a window server
and window manager within the same project. Its
intended use is on embedded platforms where
resources are low, as well as everywhere a desktop
environment needs to be started very quickly and
with low memory consumption. XFast can be used
together with existing GTK and SDL applications,
so there is no need to rewrite them for this new
windowing system.

lookout97 is a Python script for translating
addressbook export files produced by Microsoft
Outlook 97 (tab-separated) into either the KDE
abbrowser addressbook format (KAB) or the GNOME
gnome-card addressbook format (Vcard subset).

Asmail is a "mail-checker" like xbiff, but with the
Afterstep look & feel. It indicates the status of
your mailbox. It can be put in the Wharf, execute
program on incoming mail, execute program on
mouseclick, show animations and more...

Pop3eye is a POP3 email notifier. It can be placed in a "dock", or use a regular or undecorated popup window. Regular expressions are used to filter email. It can display up to 20 partial lines of the email body in a tooltip window. It can monitor and display an unlimited number of accounts. You can choose to show messages using regular expressions, or delete messages from the server.

DDCcontrol is a program used to control monitor
parameters, like brightness and contrast, by software, i.e.
without using the OSD (On Screen Display) and the buttons
in front of the monitor.
