wmpower is a Window Maker dock application
allowing the user to graphically see (and set) the
power management status of his laptop. It works
with both APM and ACPI enabled kernels.

gospy-applet is a GNOME applet monitoring servers and Web pages. It detects changes in page content, page status, page size, page loading time, IP address, and so on.

Kat is a framework for KDE designed to index files.
Metadata, full text, and thumbnails are extracted from documents, images, MP3 and other media allowing for quick and accurate information retrieval. It is similar to the Windows applications WhereIsIt and Google Desktop Search.

nautilus-audio-convert is an extension of Gnome
Nautilus that provides a user-friendly way to
convert several audio files. This extension adds a
popup-menu item that applies to every audio file
selected with the file manager. The supported
formats are Ogg Vorbis (ogg), MPEG3 (mp3), MS-PCM
Waves (wav), and MS-Audio Streaming File (asf).

JSqsh is a Java reimplementation of a console
based (i.e. non-graphical) database query tool
called sqsh. Jsqsh combines the ability to run SQL
queries against any database with a JDBC driver
along with much of the functionality of a Unix
shell, such as piping the results of queries out
to external programs (grep, more, etc.), expanding
variables, redirecting output to files, command
line editing, tab-completion of object names, and
more.

Logsmith is an extendable framework for processing
and editing small text files. It can be seen as a
combined (but stripped down) version of UN*X tools
like awk, sed, and grep with a graphical user
interface. The intent is to give users the powers
such tools provide without having to train them in
their use. In order to archive this goal, logsmith
can easily be customized through a plugin
architecture to perform the commons tasks that a
specific user base might require.

Cout highlights the output of different programs
with color according to defined patterns. It is
highly configurable.

WorkerTimer lets you record the time you spend on different tasks with a single mouse click. It is easy to add and delete projects. An included utility generates reports. WorkerTimer used to be known as Project Clock but has been renamed due to a trademark issue.

KFontinst is a KDE-based TrueType and Type1 font installer. Its features include: the abilty to preview fonts before installing, generation of a Ghostscript Fontmap file (including aliases for Qt-generated Postscript), StarOffice configuration, and generation of AFM files for use with StarOffice & AbiWord.

Fract-O-Rama is a Qt-based fractal generation program. All fractal images are specified using the program's fractal scripting language, so it is possible to explore a wider variety of fractal types/options than with many other generation programs. Full source is included, and the program readily compiles/runs on UNIX or win32 (win32 binaries are also available, as a Qt commercial license is required to build the program on windows). It comes with documentation and many example fractals.

light-monitor is a transparent panel that depends
only on X and Xft. It comes with light-calendar, a
simple, transparent, and lightweight calendar.
These two programs are written to consume the
lowest possible amount of resources.

PHP-Qt is an extension for PHP 5.1 that makes it
possible to write software with the Qt toolkit.
It provides an object-oriented interface to the
Qt 4 framework.

RadioActive is a radio tuner program for X (using the GTK widget set), the GNOME panel and the command line, built upon the standardized Video4Linux API found in the 2.2 series of the Linux kernels.

KPortage a graphical frontend for the Gentoo Linux portage system.
