The Snack sound extension adds commands for sound play/record and sound visualization, e.g. waveforms and spectrograms. It supports in- memory sound objects, file based audio, streaming audio, WAV, AU, AIFF, and MP3 file formats, synchronous and asynchronous playback. The visualization canvas item types update in real-time and can output postscript. New commands and file formats can be added using the Snack C-API.

Simulum deals with different simulations of star movements
and their visualizations. At first it looks at the projection and
accumulation of star brightness. In actually doing this it
distributes stars among a three dimensional figure. To get a
nice effect it combines the photographic image production
with a moving view point. So the outcome is the visual
impression of flying through a star field. Secondly it studies
different algorithms of particle movements and clustering.
The primary approach uses a combination of Newton's
gravitational law, energy, and impulse conservation. At all
these stages an highly dynamic view of the processes is able
to be produced.

QCAD Pro bundles QCAD with additional proprietary tools and plugins, including read and write support for the DWG file format, SVG export, printing a drawing on multiple pages (poster), and support for splines from fit points. QCAD is an application for computer aided drafting in two dimensions (2D). With QCAD, you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts, or schematics and diagrams. QCAD can be easily extended through plugins and its very powerful and complete ECMAScript (JavaScript) interface.

EasyBMP is a cross-platform C++ library for reading and writing Windows bitmap (BMP) files. Designed for ease of use, it requires no installation or external libraries, is small in size, well-documented, and is simple enough for the novice programmer to start in just minutes.

Netmate shows network protocols headers in 32-bit aligned fields, identical as they are represented in Requests for Comments (RFCs). It can be used to learn and teach about network protocols and to understand their functionality and collaboration.

GL2PS is a C library providing high quality vector
output for any OpenGL application. It uses sorting
algorithms capable of handling intersecting and
stretched polygons, as well as non manifold
objects. It provides advanced smooth shading and
text rendering, culling of invisible primitives,
mixed vector/bitmap output, and much more. It can
currently create PostScript (PS), Encapsulated
PostScript (EPS), Portable Document Format
(PDF), and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) files, as well as LaTeX files for the text fragments.

GPLIGC is a program for analyzing IGC flight data from GNSS flight data recorders used by glider pilots. It uses Perl/Tk and gnuplot. The openGLIGCexplorer (written in C++) allows one to view the data in 3D with OpenGL, and can also be used as a digital elevation model terrain viewer. It can also be used for off-screen rendering of 2D and 3D images of flight tracks or terrain/map data.

XiStrat (aka 'Extended Strategy') is in particular about turn-based, networked multiplayer, non-cooperative, zero-sum, abstract strategy board games (e.g., Chess, Go, Reversi variants, etc.) on 3D-visualized polyhedra and contains a server, client GUI, autoplayer engine, utilities, and documentation. Related recreational modern mathematics (single agent, cellular automata, graph/group/complexity/knot theory, discrete geometry, algebra, combinatorics, and mathematical physics) is also dealt with.

The JOpenChart library and toolkit provides the means to create different kinds
of charts, including pie charts, line charts, and plot charts. Furthermore, it
contains components for embedding charts into Swing or Web applications. The
library's Renderer Interface API makes it very easy to add new renderers for
different chart types. Classes to interpolate measured data and to plot
mathematical functions are also included.

Flot is a pure Javascript plotting library for jQuery. It produces graphical plots of arbitrary data sets on-the-fly, client-side. The focus is on simple usage (all settings are optional), attractive looks, and interactive features like zooming and mouse tracking.
